Suzuki Access 125 Special Edition Now Gets A New Colour – Prices Unchanged

Suzuki has launched the Access 125 SE with a new colour for the same price. The updated version also gets some features onboard.

Suzuki Access 125 SE now gets a new Metallic Matte Bordeaux colour option onboard. The updated scooter has already started reaching dealerships, as it was recently spotted at one.

With this new colour, the Suzuki Access 125 SE will be available in four colour options – Matte Black, Metallic Silver and Pearl White. Other than the new colour, it does not get any other update.

Access 125 SE is basically a more premium looking version of the regular Access, offering better colours and slightly revised body parts. The prices for the new colour remain the same at Rs 61,178 (Ex-showroom Delhi).

Access 125 gets a 124cc SOHC air-cooled engine, that produces 8.7 BHP and 10.2 Nm of torque. It gets a CVT gearbox onboard. The fuel tank capacity stands at 5.6 Litres, which is likely to offer a riding range of around 250 kms.

Telescopic forks at the front and swingarm at the back aid the suspension capabilities of the scooter. It now comes with disc brake at the front and drum brake at the back with CBS (Combi Braking System) as standard fitment. The regular Access gets front drum brakes as standard.

The Access 125 SE gets disc brake, chrome-plated mirrors, retro seat, DC socket (Standard), front apron hook and a grab rail in its features list. The SE variant gets multi-spoke alloy wheels but the regular model gets steel wheels.

The scooter competes with the likes of Honda Activa 125, Hero Destini 125, TVS Ntorq 125 and TVS Jupiter. All the scooters are priced in the range of Rs 55000-60000.

Suzuki Access 125 SE is the amongst the top 3 best selling scooters of India, with Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter. Jupiter and Access are continuously at loggerheads for the second position.

Access is also Suzuki’s best selling model in India, after Gixxer. The 110cc Lets was recently discontinued due to poor sales, whereas the new Burgman Street has proven to be a fairly good model in the lineup.
