Price

The Suzuki Gixxer 155 is priced at Rs. 72,199, ex-showroom Delhi

Competition

In the 150cc motorcycle segment the Suzuki Gixxer will go up against the likes of Bajaj Pulsar 150,ย Yamahaย FZ-S, Hero Xtreme and Honda CB Trigger.

Suzuki has struggled in the highly competitive Indian two wheeler market so it’ll be interesting to see if the Suzuki Gixxer can turn things around for them or will the Indian buyer stick to the already established names in the market and ignore Suzuki’s latest offering as well.

Design

The Suzuki Gixxer is a good looking bike with muscular styling, especially the fuel tank and some smartly designed bits such as the triangulated exhaust and stubby tailpipe, blacked out engine and black Y-Shape alloy wheels which look similar to the ones seen on the Suzuki Slingshot. The motorcycle also gets LED tail-lamps and mono-shock absorbers which coupled with the stubby tailpipe give the rear end of the bike a very sport appeal. Like the Yamaha FZ series the front number plate is mounted right above the headlamp which is a bit if an eye sore but all and all the overall look of the bike is very appealing. We’ll have to wait to see if that’s enough to pull buyers into Suzuki showrooms.
