Tata Harrier

Check out this severe accident between Tata Harrier Facelift and a Hyundai Xcent. Both have received a major damage on the front and side.

Tata Harrier has still not received its safety rating badge, but we all know that it has a strong build. We have seen many incidents of Harrier involved in an accident but saving lives of its passengers. Here’s another example where the SUV crashed into an oncoming Hyundai Xcent.

Very few details are known about this accident. Looks like it was an oncoming crash, where one crashed into another while overtaking. The road is very narrow and on these two lane highways, speeding and overtaking is a regular thing. The driver side of both the cars has been affected the most.

In case of Harrier, the driver side portion including bumpers, side fenders, body cladding and even the door has taken most of the damage. The complete metal has been eroded which shows a major accident at hand. You can literally see the engine components inside, which have also received some damage.

Interestingly, the alloy of Tata Harrier is still intact, however, the tyres have busted. Even the rest of the bumper and bonnet are in full shape which shows that the car might be restored back to original. As for Xcent, its chassis has been twisted and the alloy has come out. Due to its lower height, the impact has shattered the windscreen and bonnet too.

However, fortunately, passengers of both the cars are safe and sound with some injuries. Airbags of both the cars have been deployed successfully which saved the lives. Harrier goes away with six airbags, high tensile steel components, traction control, drive modes and a lot of features. Xcent also gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and a rear parking camera.
