A digital illustration has unleashed a rather beastly persona of the Tata Harrier. Donning the garb of an off-roading monster truck, the digital rendering presents what can be the perfect match for the Mahindra Global PikUp Concept. Since the debut of the Harrier and Safari, creative minds have conjured up many digital renditions of these SUVs. And the results are often undeniably sporty, tailored for the off-road aficionados. Among these imaginative renderings, the Tata Harrier pickup stands out as a dream machine for off-roading enthusiasts. Let’s delve into the intricate details of the digital off-road monster.

Most Rugged Iteration of Tata Harrier Ever!
The Tata Harrier pickup concept presents itself as a rugged workhorse, meticulously crafted for the harshest terrains. Every inch of its exterior exudes strength and robustness, highlighted by the huge off-road-spec tires. The raised suspension allows effortless accommodation of these tires. This, in turn, results in an impressive ground clearance. The front fascia boasts a sporty and robust appeal, featuring a reworked hood. The soft parts of the facade, though, stay largely unchanged. A huge metal skid plate can be found at the lower section.
High-beam LED lights grace the rooftop to help the Harrier venture into the dark. A similar enchantment takes place at the rear, with supplementary lighting illuminating the rear section. This functional touch extends to the cargo compartment, where robust side support bars facilitate secure storage of luggage. This is especially important during off-road escapades.

Specifications
The artist hasn’t given any details of the specs he would want for his creation. The regular Tata Harrier has a 2.0-liter diesel engine that belts out 170 PS and 350 Nm. Gear-shifting duties are executed seamlessly by a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. Yet, this incarnation, dedicated to the off-road realm, promises an array of off-roading equipment and technology. Safely expect this pickup to offer Terrain Modes, a 4ร4 Drive System and Mechanically/Electronically Locking Differential if it ever makes it to production.
The regular Tata Harrier is available in a price range of Rs 15.20 lakh to Rs 24.27 lakh (ex-showroom). Currently, Tata Motors has no plans of coming up with a pickup variant with off-roading capability. However, it’s been working on a mid-life facelift that will likely debut with a petrol engine option. Even as the Mahindra Global PikUp Concept is years away from production, a Harrier-derived pickup, such as the one seen above, should serve as a worthy competitor.
