This latest post comes from carswithkaran on Instagram. It captures a heavily camouflaged SUV in an isolated location. Most likely, the test mule is undergoing analysis of various features. The caption of the post mentions that there were metallic pedal shifters behind the new two-spoke steering wheel, a 360ยฐ camera, a touch-sensitive HVAC Control Panel, sequential turn indicators, a slightly redesigned and repositioned headlight cluster and new LED DRLs. At the rear, the connected LED tail lamps are also partially visible.

It looks like the driver is testing the hill assist control of the vehicle. He has parked the car on an incline. After releasing the brakes, he is trying to pick it up without it moving back. Note that this is not a new feature. The current model already comes with it. This could be particularly helpful while driving in the hills with steep slopes. There are other reports floating around which suggest that the new Nexon also boasts ADAS active safety features enhancing the safety problems of the compact SUV even further. Note that it already has a 5-star safety rating at the Global NCAP. However, the norms and regulations of GNCAP are new since July last year (2022).

The upcoming facelift Nexon might make its debut with an entirely new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. This powertrain could deliver an impressive 125 PS of peak power and 225 Nm of maximum torque. Buyers will have the flexibility to choose between a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, allowing them to align with their personal preferences. In addition to the turbo-petrol option, Tata Motors will also retain the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine variant, which offers a peak power of 110 PS and a maximum torque of 260 Nm.
