Tata Tigor iCNG ownership review

The rising fuel prices have forced people to look for alternatives with CNG being at the top of that list for people residing in metro cities. Here is an honest Tata Tigor iCNG review.

A Tata Tigor iCNG owner has given his honest ownership review in this video. The CNG-powered car sales are on a rise due to the recent surge in fuel (petrol and diesel) prices. People had to look for alternatives that includes CNG or electric vehicles. The EVs have their own challenges regarding prices and infrastructure. That is the reason why CNG is the preferred choice, at least for the people in big cities where CNG stations are readily available. Let us check out what the Tigor owner has to say about the CNG-powered sedan.

The YouTuber asks some pertinent questions of the owner and he gives his honest answers. The begin with, he tells that his decision for buying a Tata product in comparison to the Maruti WagonR CNG was the safety aspect. He adds that the WagonR has seen a substantial price increment since it was first launched back in 2019 without any improvements to the safety ratings. To prove his point, he tears up the brochure of Maruti WagonR CNG in front of the camera and asks the carmaker to improve its build quality and safety equipment for passenger protection in unfortunate scenarios.

Additional, he mentions that he has driven the car for about 250 km in just 6 days. The majority of that was driven on CNG and he was able to squeeze around 22 km/kg mileage from the 12 kg CNG tank. In terms of capacity, depending on the pressure, he is able to fill 8.5 kg to 9 kg of CNG in the tank. Being a sedan ensures that there is still some space left for luggage despite the massive CNG tank at the boot. He had also been involved in a bit of a minor accident where his car performed extremely well. He tells the YouTuber that the Maruti car that hit his Tigor suffered a worse aftereffect.
