After MV Agusta confirmed its launch in the Indian market in 2012, another global manufacturer has announced of his arrival in the Indian market. We are talking about the legendary brand Triumph who is all set to make its mark in India.
Unlike MV Agusta who has not revealed any details about the models it is going to launch, Triumph has confirmed 7 models that will constitute its Indian line-up.
Ashish Joshi , Managing Director , Triumph Motorcycles India said, ‘We deliberated over the range of bikes to bring into India and decided to bring in these models to showcase the Triumph range. We have bikes which can cater to different needs – from 675cc Super Sport bike the Daytona 675 to 2300 cc Rocket III. The Indian market offers good potential and as a company , we are confident that each of our seven models within its individual category will be a trailblazer in very short time; similar to other markets we are present in.’Â
1. Truimp Rocket III Roadster

It is the world’s largest mass production bike with a mind boggling engine capacity of 2294 CC. The 3 cylinder engine delivers 147 BHP of peak power and a very impressive 221 Nm of torque at 5750 RPM and 2750 RPM respectively. The huge capacity engine delivers 11 kmpl.
2. Triumph Thunderbird Storm
Being a cruiser bike the Thunderbird Storm also features an award winning high capacity T-16 1700 CC engine. The same unit delivers 98 BHP of max power and an impressive 156 Nm of torque. In city the mileage is said to be close to 17 kmpl.
3. Triumph Daytona 675
The Daytona 675 is a class-leading, award-winning, supersport contender equipped with race track developed technology. The compact 675 cc engine delivers 125 BHP of peak torque and 72Nm of max torque. The three-cylinder engine offers class-leading performance and it features a fully-adjustable suspension for controllable and precise handling.
4. Triumph Tiger 800XC
The Tiger 800XC is an off-road motorcycle that equips a smooth long-stroke three-cylinder engine that ensures excellent on and off-road manners. The bike features adjustable seat height and handlebar position. The 800 CC engine delivers 95 BHP of max power and 79 Nm of peak torque.
5. Triumph Bonneville
The Bonneville is a Modern interpretation of classic British parallel-twin motorcycle. It sports a 865 CC air-cooled power plant generous enough to develop 68 BHP of max power and 68 Nm of peak torque. It delivers a fair mileage of 19 kmpl.
6. Triumph Street Triple
This global hit bike known as Street Triple was launched in 2007. This bike fuses the style of Tirumph Speed Triple with the performance and agility of Daytona 675. It gets a liquid cooled 12 valve 3 cylinder 675 CC engine offering 105 BHP of power and 69 Nm of torque. It delivers 14 kmpl of mileage in city.
7. Triumph Speed Triple
This iconic street fighter sports bike gets a liquid cooled 12 valve 3 cylinder 1050 CC engine. The power engine delivers 133 BHP @ 9400 RPM of max power and 111 Nm @ 7750 of peak torque. This bike delivers 14 kmpl of mileage in city.
