Apache RR310 vs BMW G310RR Drag Race

This post comes from Ayush Verma on YouTube. The YouTuber has the two motorcycles side-by-side. For the first round, he takes the BMW G310RR and his friend has the Apache RR310. In the first round, the BMW takes the lead from the beginning. This is due to the powerful low-end grunt. However, after a while, the performance of both bikes feels almost similar. They switch the riders for the second round to maintain consistency of results. Similarly, the BMW starts well. Also, it has a higher top speed. That is why it was able to win both rounds. But there is not much difference in the overall performance.

What We Think

Numerous YouTubers have embraced the prevalent practice of employing drag races as a means to assess the capabilities of different motorcycles. Nevertheless, it’s crucial to recognize that depending exclusively on drag races for these evaluations might not be the most prudent strategy. This apprehension stems from the risk of drag races causing enduring harm to motorcycles, as the majority of bikes are not engineered for extended high-speed, straight-line racing. Consequently, we highly advise against engaging in drag races with your personal motorcycles. In practice, most riders refrain from pushing their bikes to such extreme limits, giving top priority to safety and safeguarding both themselves and their vehicles from potential harm.
