bajaj pulsar 400cc rendering

Digital automobile artists keep coming up with incredibly unique and enticing iterations of popular motorcycles.

Here is an interesting digital rendition which could point to what the Bajaj Pulsar 400cc might look like. Note that it is only applicable if Bajaj ever plans on launching the 400-cc Pulsar in our market. It’s worth mentioning that rumours about the potential release of a 400cc Pulsar have been circulating on the internet for quite some time now. Additionally, considering that the Pulsar lineup already includes a 250cc model, the development of a 400cc version seems like the logical next step. Here are the details of this latest digital rendition.

This illustration comes from abin_designs_511 and bikerzz_of_india on Instagram. This unique model is not overtly flamboyant which is a great thing. Digital designers often go overboard while displaying their creativity. But on this occasion, this motorcycle looks like a bigger version of the Pulsar N250. At the front, there is an aggressive fascia with a compact wind-visor, a compact handlebar, sharp headlamp housing, a muscular fuel tank, sporty alloy wheels with broad tyres, a tyre hugger at the front, red and white body graphics which read NS and Pulsar marking on the fuel tank, a split-seat setup, a sleek tail end with LED taillight and slim grab handle. All in all, it looks incredibly attractive.

Specs

Since there is already the Dominar 400 in the portfolio of Bajaj, we could expect the 400cc Pulsar to even get the same powertrain. The motorcycle is powered by a 373-cc fuel-injected engine that can produce an impressive 43 PS of power and 35 Nm of torque at its peak. This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission for smooth gear shifts. Importantly, this bike comes standard with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. In terms of pricing, the Dominar 400 starts at a minimum of Rs 2.30 lakh, ex-showroom. It faces notable competition in this segment from bikes like the KTM RC 390, Ninja 300, Benelli TNT300, Yamaha R3, and TVS Apache RR310.
