Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

The new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is powered by a 1.5-liter intelligent hybrid powertrain that offers 68kW (92.45PS) of power and 122Nm of max torque. It also comes in a 1.5-liter engine option that offers 75.8kW (103.06PS) and 136.8Nm of max torque. The Intelligent Electric Hybrid variants get e-CVT transmission. Whereas the Smart Hybrid variants come with 6-speed Automatic Transmission with Paddle Shifters and 5-speed Manual. The new car is said to offer a Best-In-Class fuel efficiency of 27.97 kmpl with the 1.5-liter hybrid powertrain and 21.11 kmpl with the Petrol option.

Design-wise, the Maruti Grand Vitara gets the signature NEXA design elements. It features a bold SUV stance with muscular wheel arches and a 3-element sweeping LED tail lamp. The new car gets sophisticated interiors with a crafted instrument panel (IP). Additional features include 3D sculpted driver & co-driver ventilated seats, Panoramic Sunroof, a Colored Head-Up Display, an all-new Full Digital Instrument Cluster, 360 View Camera, Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto, a premium sound system, Qi-certified Wireless charger, a 9-inch Smart Play Pro+ Infotainment system, and an in-built voice assist system. Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG

The next model on our list of upcoming Maruti Cars in India 2022 looks all set to become the most economical car in its segment. Recently, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza was launched in the Indian market with a 1.5L K15C smart hybrid petrol engine with DualJet and Dual VVT technology. It offers 102 bhp and 137 Nm of peak power and max torque, respectively. The engine can be paired with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter gearbox.

The Petrol version comes with a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The company is expected to launch a CNG version soon. It is likely to come with a 1.5-liter K-Series Dualjet Dual-VVT naturally-aspirated motor that offers 87 bhp of peak power and 121 Nm of max torque. For transmission, it comes with a five-speed manual gearbox. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 9-13 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2022 Maruti Brezza features the overall silhouette of the current-gen model. It comes with all-new dual-LED Projector headlamps, a raised front hood, skid plates, precision-cut alloy wheels, and a gunmetal finish front grille with a stylish chrome accent. Additional features include an electric sunroof, 22.86cm SmartPlay Pro+ Infotainment system with HD display, wireless charging dock, colored Head-Up Display, 360 View Camera, Colored Multi-information display screen, Rear AC vents, Cooled glovebox, Rear fast-charging USB ports (A & C type), toggle control auto AC panel, and Paddle shifter controls with automatic transmission. Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG

Since Maruti Suzuki is expanding its CNG line-up, the Baleno CNG is next on the cards. It is expected to come with a 1.2L K12C engine (seen on the new Swift CNG and the Dzire CNG) that outputs 77 bhp of peak power and 98.5 Nm of maximum torque. For transmission, the car is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and offers a range of 28-30 km/kg. The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG will be the only CNG premium hatchback on offer in the country. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 9-10 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno is powered by a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder K-Series petrol engine. This engine can churn out 88 horsepower and 113 Nm of peak torque. As standard, Maruti is offering the Baleno with a 5-speed manual transmission and an idle stop-start system. A 5-speed automated manual transmission is available in select variants. Additional features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a sliding front center armrest, a heads-up display, cruise control, auto-dimming IRVMS, auto-folding ORVM, rear AC vents, a push-button start-stop system, automatic climate control, steering mounted audio controls, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child-seat anchorage points, rear parking sensors, a rear parking camera, ESP with hill assist, and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
