A famous YouTuber recently completed a unique road trip from Delhi to London in his Mahindra Scorpio N successfully.

A YouTuber reveals the total cost of the Delhi-London road trip in Mahindra Scorpio N. It is one of the most detailed vlog series on YouTube where he has documented his entire journey through 30 countries and 22,000 km in around 110 days. He mentions that some people have done this route pre-covid. But there is a massive difference in the prices of travel, living, food, etc after that. Hence, he has the details of all his days in various countries. In the end, he also suggests some ways to reduce the overall costs by not repeating the same mistakes as they did. Cost of Delhi-London Trip in Mahindra Scorpio

He takes into account each and every aspect. This includes the Carnet (passport for the car), their individual visas for 5 countries – UAE, Iran, Turkey, EU and UK, cost of parking cars during the entire trip, insurance (personal and car), internet, SIM cards, toll taxes, flights, shipping, ferry rides, service and some additional expenditure. Moreover, he mentions the prices for single person or multiple people (upto 4). Some costs are then divided. He was travelling with his friend. The total cost for the two people came out to be around Rs 32.16 lakh – around Rs 16 lakh per person. Here is the breakdown of the expenses:

As seen from this post, this covers just about every possible expense one could think of. Note that you could even buy some personal gifts for family or friends which is not covered in this list. Hence, there is really no limit to how much you can spend. However, the vlogger does mention some tricks to save some buck. For instance, he recommends shipping the car from India to Dubai instead of Iran. That would reduce cost and hassle drastically. Then, one could stay in hostels instead of hotels. The SIM cards which he purchased were expensive as he needed a lot of internet data to upload vlogs. Most people don’t need it. All in all, one could complete this trip using this route for around Rs 21 lakh, if travelling individually.
