Even certain tuning has been done to the engine and gearbox for more precise shifts. Some of the rally cars are not even road legal because of the customizations done.

Now in the BS6 era, Volkswagen Polo loses its 1.2 Litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine and a 1.5 litre turbo diesel. While the new 1.0 Litre TSI engine may have lost a cylinder, but it is slightly more powerful. It produces 110 PS and 175 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed manual stick and a 6-speed torque converter AT.
