Maruti Ritz With Automatic Transmission Launched “Officially” In 3rd January 2013

Updated on 7 Nov 2012 Maruti Suzuki India has silently launched the Maruti Ritz petrol with automatic transmission model. The Ritz Automatic comes only in petrol automatic VXi AT grade and has the option of ABS with EBD as optional safety feature. The ARAI approved mileage of the Maruti Ritz with 4 speed automatic is 17.16 KMPL with the 1.2 Litre K series petrol engine with VVTI technology. The mileage difference between the Maruti Ritz Automatic and Manual is about 1.34 KMPL which is quite small, but we think that in real world driving conditions, this difference maybe larger.

A few months back Maruti Suzuki launched the 2012 iteration of Maruti Ritz. While the media was expecting the launch of both the petrol and diesel models, Maruti chose to introduce the diesel one only.
