Toyota Etios Launch In India In December 2010

Toyota  has formally announced Toyota Etios in January 2010 at the Auto Expo 2010 Delhi. There was no official declaration of the price and launch date then, but the sources have now indicated that the Etios Hatchback and Etios Sedan will both be launched In India by End of year 2010.

The car is going to compete with Maruti Suzuki Swift , Maruti Swift Dzire, Tata Manza and Ford Figo.

    @Saif
    I think it may be available just as an option and not as standard, because it means added cost and lower efficiency in terms of fuel mileage. In India, its almost a norm for cheaper cars to come with manual transmission as standard.

    they are releasing petrol version., there is no diesel version. i will go for swift

    Etios will definately cange the the market of swift desire and will end the monopoly of maruti swift. because price would be approximate 6.25-6.40 only ( Ex Show Room delhi)
