2018 hyundai creta facelift

The Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular SUVs in India right now. Since its launch in July 2015, the small SUV has racked up some massive numbers. Althoughย the Creta is barely two years old, Hyundai India seems to be working on updating the popular SUV. The facelift of the Hyundai Creta will include mostly visual updates along with some additions to the features list. The 2018 Hyundai Creta facelift could resemble the model that is on sale in Brazil. Expect Hyundai to launch the Creta facelift in India sometime next year.

Again, it is highly unlikely Hyundai will launch a facelift of the Creta anytime soon. We expect Hyundai to bring the facelift of the Creta to India sometime in 2018, possibly the middle of that year. By that time it would have completed around three years on sale in India.

Hyundai India could launch the Creta facelift with a reduced starting price. While the top end trims could cost a bit more. Currently, the Creta petrol costs Rs. 9.29 – 13 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) while the Creta Diesel prices fall in the Rs. 10.00 -14.64 lakh range ex-showroom Delhi).

2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift Exterior and Interior Design

The main talking point of the Hyundai Creta facelift will be its exterior design. The images seen here of the Brazil-spec model depict a new front end. There is a new grille that is bigger and the bumper is also new. Furthermore, the vertical fog lamp units have been replaced by horizontal fog lamps. The Creta facelift for India could feature a similar look. However, it is sure to get a slightly different grille with the new ‘cascading’ design as seen on updated versions of the Grand i10 and Xcent.

At the back, the new Creta features subtle changes to the tail lights. They get different detailing with the turn indicators and reverse lights now placed below the main stop lamps. Like the front, the rear bumper is new with a silver finish faux skid plate and new reflector units. Overall, changes made to the upcoming Hyundai Creta facelift will not be very drastic, butย will bring the exterior in line with Hyundai’s current design language.

Changes to the cabin will be minimal. In fact, the basic design and layout of the dashboard will remain the same. Hyundai recently added a new 7 inch touchscreen to the Creta and dual tone paint options. Read about it HERE.

The launch of the Hyundai Creta facelift is pure speculation as of now. The manufacturer has not made any announcements regarding the same. In fact, the product is barely a couple of years old in the market. So, Hyundai won’t exactly be in a hurry to bring a facelift to India. However, we will keep you updated if there are any developments regarding the 2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift India launch.
