2018 Maruti Vitara Brezza AMT variant has been launched with Auto Gear Shift. Also, the compact SUV receives a facelift with some added features and cosmetic changes. AGS comes in the VDi variant and above with prices starting from Rs 8.54 Lakhs. It also gets a new colour option in its range.ย
2018 Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift is launched with some added technology features, cosmetic changes and a new AMT gearbox. The compact SUV gets a new Auto Gear Shift option. In terms of safety, now, dual airbags, reverse parking sensors, high-speed alert and ABS with EBD are standard across all variants. Exterior changes include new glossy black alloys and a new colour variant – Autumn Orange. The front chrome grille and back door chrome garnish is now a standard fitting across all variants. In the interiors, the SUV getsย an all-black colour scheme and complementing accents.

Maruti Vitara Brezza AMT gets a lot of safety features comprising ISOFIX child restraint system, high-speed warning alert, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors and front seatbelt pre-tensioners and force limiters. These features have now been made standard across all variants. Vitara Brezza is already certified for offset and side impact crash tests since its launch.

Currently, Vitara Brezza is currently one of the top-selling models of Maruti. Currently, in terms of safety, it comes with features such as Engine Immobilizer, EBD, Rain sensing wipers and Automatic headlamps. Other features include cruise control, reverse parking assist, push start-stop button, Automatic Climate Control, keyless entry and an infotainment system with GPS assist.

2018 Maruti Vitara Brezza AMT comes with the usual 1.3 Litre DDiS 200 engine that produces 90 PS maximum power and 200 Nm max torque. The car is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and an optional Auto Shift Gear Transmission. The compact SUV records a mileage of 21.7kmpl in the city and 25.3kpl on the highway. In case of the AMT variant, the mileage figures would not reduce much.

Vitara Brezza with AGS will come in VDi, ZDi and ZDi+ variants. The pricing range starts from Rs 8.54 Lakhs to Rs 10.49 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It highly competes with TUV 300, Tata Nexon and Ford Ecosport.
