2019 Mini JCW packs more power under the hood and added features.
BMW will launch a variety of cars for 2019 and recently Mini JCW (John Cooper Works) have been launched at a price of Rs 43.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The car will be made in dealerships from June onwards.
Mini is acquired by the BMW group and it brings a focused, engaging and inspiring products. The 3-door sporty hatchback is brought in as a CBU and cost Rs 9.3 lakh more than the Mini Cooper S. Yes, apart from some cosmetic changes, the Mini JCW gets changes under the hood as well.
Powering the engine will be a 2.0 litre, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol motor which will generate 231 bhp with a peak torque of 320 Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission with shift paddles.

The Mini Cooper JCW interiors are packed with sports seats integrated with headrests in Carbon Black Dinamica Leather and red accents to feel the power beneath. The interiors mostly remain the same like before.
The hot hatchback is offered with an optional Mini Wired package which includes an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with touchpad controller. You get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto too. It also gets a wireless charging so you could be connected with your phone thoroughly.
On the exteriors, the hexagonal grille gets a honeycomb mesh and the car gets LED Headlights and LED DRL’s incorporates the direction indicators. The car sits on 17″ black alloy wheels with brake calliper in bold-chilli red colour and gets John Cooper Work badge.
For that ultimate sound experience, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon Hi-Fi audio system is standard with an eight-channel amplifier which delivers 360W of crisp and natural sound. The car also gets high contrast MINI heads-up-display.

The Mini comes with safety features like ABS (anti-lock braking system), 3-point seat belt for all seats, crash sensor, brake assist and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).
