New Hyundai Venue N-Line vs Regular Model Specs Price Features Comparison

The compact SUV has officially been launched with tons of new-age amenities and attractive introductory prices

The new Hyundai Venue N-Line has finally been launched in India. In this post, I am comparing the differences between the regular and N-Line versions of the upcoming SUV. We know that Hyundai offers its N-Line range of products in India for performance enthusiasts. Note that the N-Line range is completely different from the full-blown N Division cars, sold in many international markets around the globe. The N-Line products encapsulate a slight essence of the sportier N cars, but are very similar to the regular versions. Let us get down to the exact details of the two versions.

2025 Hyundai Venue vs Venue N-Line – Price

The regular Hyundai Venue retails between Rs Rs 7.90 lakh and Rs 15.51 lakh, ex-showroom. On the other hand, the N-Line is currently available in two variants – N6 and N10 and bear a price sticker of Rs 11.45 lakh and Rs 15.30 lakh, ex-showroom, respectively. To keep this comparison fair, the regular Venue in the 1.0-litre turbo petrol avatar starts at Rs 8.80 lakh and goes up to Rs 14.56 lakh, ex-showroom. Hence, the top trims with DCT gearbox highlight a difference of Rs 74,000.

2025 Hyundai Venue vs Venue N-Line

Going by the official press release, the exterior styling bears tons of aesthetic alterations in comparison to the standard model to set the two apart. We have already seen it with the existing Venue and Venue N-Line, along with other Hyundai models. At the front, there is a N-Line exclusive bumper with red highlights, a dark chrome radiator grille with an N-Line emblem, N-Line exclusive dark metallic silver skid plates, LED sequential turn indicators, etc. Moving down the sides, capture body coloured wheel arch cladding, side sill garnish with red accents, roof rails with red inserts, 17-inch diamond cut alloys with N emblem and red disc brake calipers. Finally, the rear end features a skid plate just like the front unit, N-Line exclusive Wing Type spoiler, twin-tip exhaust and N-Line emblem on the tailgate. These are enough distinctions to set the two apart.

Apart from that, even the interior layout embodies loads of differentiations in the N-Line version to set it completely apart from the regular model. This includes aspects like a sporty black interior with red elements, N-Line exclusive steering wheel, N-Line exclusive gear shift knob, sporty metal pedals, sporty black leather seats with N branding and Ambient Lighting (Sunrise Red) alongside the crashpad and centre console. Note that there won’t be any additions to the features list in contrast to the standard model. Hence, all the changes will be strictly aesthetic. Also, the colour options for the N-Line include – Altas White, Tital Grey and Dragon Red in monotone, and Atlas White with Abyss Black Roof, Hazel Blue with Abyss Black Roof and Dragon Red with Abyss Black Roof in dual-tone theme.

Specs

The new-gen Hyundai Venue doesn’t bear any changes to the powertrains and transmission in comparison to the last-gen model. Hence, we experience the 1.2-litre NA petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel mills, making 83 PS / 114.7 Nm, 120 PS / 172 Nm and 116 PS / 250 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. The NA petrol comes with a sole 5-speed manual, while the turbo petrol can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT and the turbo diesel mill can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. In the N-Line version, there will be the sole turbo petrol option with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Hence, the driving enthusiasts will get the most powerful engine option, which is understandable.

My View

Now, choosing between these two avatars of the new Hyundai Venue can be a bit tricky. However, we must understand that there are dedicated target customers for each of these. For those who want their SUV to stand apart from the crowd, have a performance demeanour and carry an imposing and sporty road presence, the N-Line should be their pick. However, if you want the subtle version without the loud aesthetics without compromising on the performance, the standard Venue with the turbo petrol will do the trick. Hence, it is a matter of preference.

Yatharth Chauhan, Managing Editor

Having tracked Hyundai’s strategy in India for over a decade, I see the new Venue N-Line as a smart move to sustain excitement around one of the brand’s strongest nameplates. Rather than chasing outright performance, Hyundai is clearly leveraging the N-Line badge to offer aspirational styling and a sportier feel to urban buyers. It’s a well-calibrated balance, adding visual flair and emotional appeal without straying from the practicality that drives Venue’s mass-market success.
