2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo Facelift

2025 Mahindra Bolero & Bolero Neo Facelifts present minor visual tweaks but some much-needed additions to the tech package

The Bolero twins have received yet another minor nip and tuc. Recently, I had a close look at the 2025 Mahindra Bolero and the Bolero Neo facelifts, and now that the official prices are out, I can finally share my take on what the company has delivered. This isn’t a major refresh but just a minor nip and tuck. Rather, it’s a strategic refinement that adds a slightly modern touch without disturbing the rustic appeal of the vehicles.

2025 Mahindra Bolero: What’s New?

The original Bolero has been a great workhorse in many semi-urban and rural markets. It’s reliable, rugged, and unpretentious. A look at the facelift was enough for me to understand subtle nature of the changes. So, all of that boxy silhouette remains as is. In fact, many of the soft parts have been carried over from the earlier version. The only exceptions here are the new grille and the addition of front fog lamps. Moreover, the introduction of the new Stealth Black colour option looks fantastic. The display car that I saw definitely had a small layer of sophistication, parked under the sun.

On the inside, the new features address a long-standing request of many customers -For the first time, we see a touchscreen infotainment system on the Bolero. The 17.8 cm unit is paired with steering-mounted audio controls. There’s even a USB Type-C charging port. These small yet essential additions are sure to improve the in-cabin experience. Furthermore, the new seat contours with leatherette upholstery promise to enhance the comfort a tad bit. Finally, the inclusion of RideFlo Tech suggests a genuine effort to finally improve the ride comfort and handling dynamics.

2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo: What has Changed?

The Bolero Neo has always been the modern alternative. It has targeted a slightly more modern, youthful and city-centric buyer. Howeverw, it has offered the same core philosophy of a body-on-frame structure. With this facelift, the Neo takes a decisive step towards becoming a slightly more premium offering.

The Neo’s updates are more comprehensive. The new, sleek grille with striking horizontal accents immediately looks sharper than before. I particularly liked the new Dark Metallic Grey 16-inch alloy wheels and the new dual-tone colour options like Jeans Blue and Concrete Grey. These truly enhance the road presence. Inside, the cabin has been refreshed. The options of new interior themes – Lunar Grey and Mocha Brown – along with the leatherette upholstery, significantly elevate the feel. The highlight, however, is the additional tech on offer. The Neo now boasts a larger 22.8 cm touchscreen infotainment unit that integrates a much-needed rear-view camera. This, in my view, is a critical safety and convenience update that was missing in a vehicle of this size. Mechanically, the inclusion of the RideFlo Tech with MTV-CL and FDD suspension promises a smoother, more controlled drive.

The launch is accompanied by the introduction of new top-end variants: the Bolero B8 and the Bolero Neo N11. Mahindra has priced both models aggressively to maintain their value proposition. The new Bolero range is priced from ₹7.99 Lakh to ₹9.69 Lakh (Ex-Showroom).

My final assessment is that these facelifts, especially the Neo with its increased tech, represent a pragmatic step forward. Mahindra has successfully preserved the core DNA of the Bolero brand – rugged capability and value – while making both models a bit more relevant and more comfortable for the modern Indian family.
