2026 Tata Punch CNG Facelift Reaches Stockyards - First Visuals

The micro SUV has been spied testing on multiple occasions in the last few months

In this post, we take a look at the details of the new 2026 Tata Punch CNG facelift as it starts arriving at the dealerships. The Indian carmaker has enjoyed massive success with the Punch. In fact, back in 2021, the sub-compact SUV became an instant hit because of its tough stance, strong safety, modern tech and comfort features, bold styling and appealing price tag. All these points have ensured that it stayed among the best-selling vehicles in the country month after month. However, a facelift is now expected and we are on course to get it in the coming weeks.

2026 Tata Punch CNG Facelift

The visuals stem from gearshift.garaze on Instagram. In the first section of the video, we witness the front fascia. It contains LED DRLs on the edge of the bonnet, while the lower section looks imposing with a massive grille, a prominent skid plate, headlamps on the sides, and an upright stance. On the sides, the SUV gets stylized wheels, squared off wheel arches, black side pillars and sturdy body claddings. Finally, the tail end has also been updated in comparison to the existing model. Now, it comes with a connected taillamp cluster, a roof-mounted spoiler, a shark fin antenna and a solid bumper with an adventurous skid plate.

There is yet another post by the same Instagram handle which captures a brief glimpse inside the cabin. We see a free-standing touchscreen infotainment display, a two-spoke steering wheel with multimedia controls, a dark colour theme and tons of new-age amenities. That is something even the current model boasts. The video clip mentions that this is the CNG avatar, which confirms that the new Punch will continue to carry multiple powertrain options to cater to the needs of all sorts of buyers.

My View

Tata Punch is among the highest-selling products in its class. It attained instant success as soon as it was first launched. The bold styling, availability of the latest tech and convenience amenities, top safety equipment and decent powertrain options are some of the reasons for its immense success. There is no reason to believe that the facelift version will be even more attractive. More details will emerge in the coming weeks.
