This first drag race is between the Swift petrol and Venue diesel. The Venue makes 100 hp and 240 Nm. It weighs more than the Swift, which is why the YouTuber decides to keep the AC ON in the Swift while the AC in the Venue is OFF. However, it is clear that from the beginning to the end, the Swift simply doesn’t let the Venue come anywhere close.

Maruti Swift vs Hyundai Creta
In this second video, the Swift goes up against the mighty Creta. The mid-size SUV is in its diesel avatar that outputs 115 PS and 250 Nm. This time around, the Creta gives a stiff competition to the Swift in the initial phase of the race. However, the Swift manages to overtake the Creta pretty soon never to be caught up by the SUV again.

Maruti Swift vs Hyundai Verna
Now, this is quite interesting. The Verna used in this race has a 1.5-litre petrol engine that churns out 115 PS and 144 Nm. The YouTubers in this video decided to give a head-start to the Verna. However, the gap didn’t last long as the Swift trounced the mid-size sedan with its brisk acceleration and the Verna was not able to catch the Swift for the rest of the race.

Maruti Swift vs Hyundai i20 N-Line
The i20 N-Line is the sporty version of the regular i20 with altered mechanical components. It is the hot-hatch of the Hyundai that comes with a 1.0-litre direct-injection turbo petrol engine making 120 PS and 172 Nm mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. But the way it performed in this drag race was quite disappointing. The Swift was effortlessly able to conquer the N-Line in every single attempt.

Maruti Swift vs Mahindra Scorpio
This might seem a bit weird to race a hatchback against an SUV that is primarily off-road focused. However, their 0-100 km/h acceleration times are quite similar making it a logical race. Interestingly, among all these races, the diesel version of the Scorpio was able to compete respectably with its 140 hp and 320 Nm 2.2 mHawk engine.
