Ship Container on Maruti Alto

This post has been shared by autombile.memes on Instagram. The video clip captures a unique sight on a road. An Alto is seen carrying a colossal ship container on its roof. It has been tied and secured quite strongly. Being a ship container, it extends well out on either side. Someone driving on the road behind the Alto is making the video capturing the entire saga. While it looks like the driver is taking all the precautions by driving slowly and on the extreme left lane of the highway, it is still dangerous on many counts.

First of all, it is blocking the view of anyone who is travelling behind it. The driver must also be careful about the extreme dimensions of this container and has to take it into account while making a judgement when passing by another vehicle closely. However, the worst aspect is that since the Alto is not designed to carry such huge loads, the mechanical components could sustain long-time wear and tear. There is added weight on the suspension and tyres and the engine will be in overpower model all the time.

What We Think

While people might think that they are saving some money by not hiring an appropriate vehicle for such activities, the long-term damage to the car can be quite expensive. Moreover, even while driving, the risk is huge pertaining to the other cars and people on the road at the time. Such stunts can easily cause accidents. Hence, we recommend our readers to not indulge in such activities. Let us pledge to be responsible drivers and adhere to all the traffic rules so that no one gets negatively impacted. If you see anyone disregarding traffic protocols, make sure to report them to the authorities.
