After Seltos and Sonet, Now Kia Carens X-Line Launched

Like the Seltos and the Sonet, even the Kia Carens is now available in the top-spec X-Line trim that carries a host of visual updates over other versions

Kia India has introduced the X-Line version of its Carens MPV, priced from Rs 18.94 lakh. Like the Kia Seltos and Sonetr X-Line versions, the top-spec variant of the Carens boasts notable styling upgrades. These include a matte graphite color choice, chrome finish on the front grille, and 16-inch alloy wheels with gloss black highlights. The interior of the Kia Carens X-Line has a dual-tone black and elegant sage green interior theme. The Seltos-based MPV even gets rear seat entertainment setup. The Kia Carens X-Line is available in two versions – Petrol 7DCT and Diesel 6AT. Both of the models are available exclusively in a 6-seater format. They cost Rs 18.94 lakh and Rs 19.44 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

Kia Carens X-Line Styling Changes

The Kia Carens X-Line features a handful of styling enhancements over the regular trim lines. The biggest update comes in the form of the Xclusive Matte Graphite color option. Additionally, it features a chrome-finished front grille, silver-colored front brake calipers, an X-Line insignia on the bootlid, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and more.

Interior Changes

When it comes to the interior, the Kia Carens X-Line boasts a dual-tone Black and Splendid Sage Green and Black color theme. Notably, it incorporates a Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) Unit for the LH Rear Passengers. This setup offers access to Podcasts, Screen Mirroring, Pinkfong, along with an array of other entertainment and news applications. Users can conveniently control this unit via a dedicated remote-control app installed on their smartphones.

Speaking on the launch of the Kia Carens X-Line, Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales and Business Officer, Kia India, said,”We are seeing a lot of new-age buyers considering distinctive and exclusive products while making purchasing decisions, so we decided to extend this trim to our India Car of The Year โ€“ Kia Carens. We already have a growing Carens family of 100,000 customers, and the X-Line will significantly expand it,”
