bajaj pulsar ns400 concept rendering

Even as details of the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar flagship are scarce, there have been a handful of renditions showing us what this motorcycle could look like. And the rendering I have here is easily the neatest yet. For many motorcycle enthusiasts like me, the Pulsar brand holds a special position in the Indian motorcycle market. The Pulsar range has been the go-to choice of all thrill-seekers on a not-so-huge budget. Keeping that in mind, Bajaj has curated a diverse range of Pulsar models to cater to many market segments. In the time to come, Bajaj could even have the slow-selling Dominar give way to the 400cc Pulsar. But for now, let’s check out this excellent Bajaj Pulsar NS400 rendering by abin_designs_511.

The motorcycle seen here looks remarkably nimble and sporty. Even as we don’t have any info on the upcoming flagship, it could definitely have a clear connection with the NS200. If you come to think of it, this 200cc Pulsar is easily the most successful of the all new-gen Pulsars. Also, such sharp styling should make it look as bold as the TVS Apache RTR 310 (seen below). The design is notably assertive, featuring bold LED headlamp cluster, a compact frame, huge front disc brake, muscular fuel tank and the decidedly street-fighter stance. Other highlights here include the sleek grab handles, stubby exhaust, carbon-finish USDs and stylish star-shape alloys. In my opinion, this offers an exhilarating glimpse into the potential aesthetic of the upcoming 400cc Pulsar flagship.

Expected Specifications

Given Bajaj’s existing lineup featuring the Dominar 400, it’s logical to assume that the potential 400cc Pulsar might share the same powerplant. The Dominar 400 boasts a 373-cc fuel-injected engine, delivering an impressive 43 PS of power and 35 Nm of torque. Paired with a 6-speed transmission for seamless gear shifts, this bike also comes equipped with dual-channel ABS for added safety. In terms of pricing, the Dominar 400 kicks off at a base price of Rs 2.30 lakh, ex-showroom. It competes in a challenging segment against rivals like the KTM Duke 390 and TVS Apache RTR 310.
