For Hyundai, the Creta has been a stalwart, consistently dominating the sales charts. However, with the competition intensifying, the carmaker recently came with a comprehensive facelift. With a slew of updates, the new model ticks all the right boxes but the carmaker isn’t the one to rest on its laurels. Merely weeks after the launch of the mid-cycle update, the carmaker is already close to introducing a hotter version in the form of the Hyundai Creta N-Line.

Ahead of its official launch, the 2024 Hyundai Creta N-Line was seen during its TVC shoot in Mumbai. The model showcases a sporty persona in a signature dark blue shade with a matte finish. This is the same paint scheme that’s even available on the i20 N-Line and Venue N-Line. Under the hood, the N Line has the 1.5L turbo-petrol engine, generating 160 PS and 253 Nm. The 1.5-litre GDi motor makes the Creta the most potent B-SUV around. For reference, the VW Taigun GT offers a max. power of 150 PS. Transmission options are likely to include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT.

Special Treatment for the N-Line: Hyundai is sparing no effort to make the N Line stand out. Expect exclusive features like a more free-flow exhaust, stiffer suspension, striking red exterior and interior highlights, and a better weighted steering wheel. Another exclusive bit will come in the form of N-Line-branded 18-inch wheels.

Distinctive Design Elements

The Hyundai Creta N-Line will sport several design elements setting it apart from its regular counterpart. N-Line badges will be seen on the wheels, front grille, side fenders, and the rear tailgate. The features list should be the same as those for the top-of-the-line SX(O) trim. From a panoramic sunroof and all four disc brakes to electrically adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, climate control, and an advanced touchscreen system with smartphone connectivity – the N Line will have a long list of top-tier equipment.

Safety at the Forefront with ADAS Level-2: Safety remains a top priority, with the Creta N Line featuring Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This addition ensures that Hyundai’s commitment to passenger safety continues to evolve, meeting the expectations of discerning buyers.

Rivalry and Expected Pricing: Hyundai Creta N Line will rival the Skoda Kushaq 1.5, VW Taigun GT and Kia Seltos GT-Line/X-Line. As for pricing, anticipate the N Line to come with a premium, likely around Rs 1 lakh more than the regular counterpart. Stay tuned for the official launch, as Hyundai looks all set to get the N-Line trim for the first time ever.
