Indian Two-Wheeler Users Hit McLaren 765LT

In a shocking turn of events, a couple of Indian two-wheeler users hit a McLaren 765LT. This is the same McLaren which was imported to India from Dubai a few months ago. We reported this news on our website as well. Now, Indian roads are infamous for being extremely dangerous. Part of the reason why it is so is because road users often ignore the traffic regulations blatantly. That causes a lot of problems, especially for people who drive expensive cars or are driving here for the first time. Let us take a look at the details of this case here.

Two-Wheeler Users Hit McLaren

The visuals of this post capture the entire saga quite vividly. The sensuous sportscar is spotted on the road. Suddenly, two road users – a biker and a scooty rider, collide on the rear bumper of the McLaren from the left side. They end up falling on the ground barely missing the scooty riding adjacent to it. After a while, we witness tons of scooty riders on the roads. Perhaps, all of them were following the supercar. In fact, the man who falls on the ground from the scooty also has the camera equipment attached to his helmet. Supposedly, he was also making a video of the McLaren.

McLaren 765LT Imported

The McLaren 765LT is one of the most popular models from the British auto maker. The supercar boasts a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine, delivering 765 PS (hence the name) of maximum power and 800 Nm of peak torque. This power is efficiently harnessed by a 7-speed sequential gearbox. In the realm of design, the rear-wheel drive exhibits a highly aerodynamic profile, reminiscent of the coupe version. The owner imported it from Dubai using the Carnet permit.

Carnet Permit

An ATA Carnet serves as a Temporary Admission permit, allowing individuals from any country to import or export non-perishable items without facing tax or duty charges. This customs document, recognized worldwide, is readily accessible and stays valid for one year from the date of issuance. Moreover, it streamlines multiple entries into different countries during that one-year duration. The administration of the ATA Carnet involves a collaborative effort between the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) through its World Chambers Federation.
