Mahindra Scorpio N-based Pickup Truck

This Mahindra Scorpio N-based pickup truck might be called the Scorpio X. Numerous reports indicate that the Scorpio N-based pickup truck is set to be released in the coming months. In fact, Mahindra Scorpio X trademark has been approve for the new Scorpio pickup. Interestingly, even though the Scorpio Getaway was discontinued in India a while back, it remained available for purchase in South Africa. The reason is straightforward – there’s a significant demand for pickup trucks in South Africa, and Mahindra, having been established there for a long time, has gained customer trust. However, the popularity of off-road vehicles is also increasing in India. Let us take a look at the details of this latest concept for now.

This latest rendition arrives from SRK Designs on YouTube. The automobile artist displays his innovative mindset to come up with a pickup version of the popular Scorpio N. It will give us an idea of what the Scorpio X could look like. At the front, it bears the typical Scorpio N fascia with vertical slats finished in chrome, dual-barrel LED headlamps with LED DRLs, fog lamp housings, and a sturdy grille. However, the main difference shines through in the side profile. This pickup truck gets new elegant alloy wheels with off-road tyres, side steps for easier ingress and egress and a solid side skirting. The roof rails are strong as well.

In fact, a prominent addition to aid off-roading scenarios is the auxiliary LED lamps on the roof. Toward the rear, the third row seating has been transformed into a cargo bed which can carry a ton of luggage. There are strong iron rods to provide stability and strength to the rear section. We must admit that the pickup truck avatar of the Scorpio N looks mega-attractive. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but it can have tons of practical applications. We thoroughly relished this creative rendition by the automobile artist.

Author’s Note

I’ve always been attracted to the practicality of pickup trucks. Their spacious cargo area ensures that passengers can bring along any amount of luggage they need. Additionally, I admire the ruggedness and capabilities of these trucks. Knowing that they can access any location brings peace of mind. Moreover, in recent years, pickup trucks have evolved from being basic in terms of cabin and features to offering modern amenities. The new trucks feature luxurious interiors and the latest technology and connectivity features. The new trademark could be an indication that we might see the Scorpio X on our roads soon. Let us keep an eye out for when it goes into production.
