I have been reporting about the new cars of the richest man in Asia for a long time now. In all honesty, I had lost count of his vehicles a long time ago. Still, I keep coming across some new vehicles in his garage frequently. During the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, the new exotic MPV was spotted. Needless to say, it is driven by a chauffeur but it is not clear who is sitting in the second row. In any case, the road presence of the MPV is magnetic and imposing. In fact, its sheer size and exquisite styling ensure that it turns heads everywhere it goes. That is befitting of the kind of vehicles the Ambanis possess. Lexus makes some of the most premium automobiles in the world. It is the luxury sub-brand of Toyota. On the inside, there is the use of high-quality materials. Complimenting this engine is a CVT automatic gearbox. This transmission powers all four wheels using Lexus’ E-Four drivetrain technology. Note that the ‘h’ in the nameplate signifies its hybrid nature. Toyota (and in turn, Lexus) is a huge proponent of hybrid cars. Hence, we have been seeing its models with this technology for a long time. It retails for Rs 2.5 Crore, ex-showroom in India.
