The newly launched sporty iteration of the compact SUV is aimed at attracting distinct buyers
In this post, we compare the new Mahindra XUV 3XO RevX A AT and Maruti Brezza ZXi AT. Note that I have chosen these variants because of their price vicinity. Also, since both of these are automatic variants, the comparison makes even more sense. The top trim of the XUV 3XO RevX retails for Rs 12.99 lakh, whereas the Brezza ZXi AT bears a price tag of Rs 12.66 lakh. Therefore, let us see which compact SUV offers what in terms of price, specs and features.
Mahindra XUV3XO RevX A AT vs Maruti Brezza ZXi AT
Both of these are mid-level trims in their respective lineups. This means that the carmakers must have equipped them with most of the modern-day tech and convenience amenities. We know that the mid-trims are almost always the best value for money propositions. Hence, a vast majority of potential car buyers generally opt for these. Specs
The new Mahindra XUV3XO RevX comes with two turbo petrol engines – a 1.2-litre TCMPFI mill, generating a decent 110 hp and 200 Nm, AND a 1.2-litre TGDi unit, belting out 130 hp and 230 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. In this top A trim, there is an automatic transmission. However, one can choose manual or automatic in the range. On the other hand, the Maruti Brezza ZXi carries a 1.5-litre K15C Smart Hybrid petrol mill which produces 103 PS and 139 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. One can also go for the CNG mill, in which case the power and torque drop down to 88 PS and 121 Nm, respectively. I advise our readers to experience the two in the flesh.
