The London E-Prix is a prominent event in the world of EV racing. First started in 2014, the event has already gained significant traction. However, this is the first time ever that an Indian electric SUV has participated in this esteemed race. The EV was driven with confidence and authority over the track, and it represents a proud moment for all the Indians across the globe.

The Mahindra BE 6 will come with two battery options – 59 kWh and 79 kWh. It’s built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform and uses BYD’s Blade Cell technology with LFP batteries. Mahindra claims the driving range is 535 km for the smaller pack and up to 682 km (around 550 km as per WLTP) for the larger one. Using a 175 kW DC fast charger, the larger battery can charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes. The BE 6 comes with three driving modes – Range, Everyday, and Race. In Race mode, it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. The prices range from Rs 18.90 lakh to Rs 27.65 lakh, ex-showroom.
