Renault Kiger Facelift Launched

The facelift iteration of the compact SUV comes with some key enhancements to set itself apart from the outgoing model

The Renault Kiger facelift has finally been launched in India. Kiger is one of the most affordable vehicles in this segment. That has been its main attraction since it was first launched in India back in 2021. Despite stiff competition in this space, it has been able to post healthy sales. As a matter of fact, the French auto giant also exports it from India to many parts of the world. In any case, a thorough facelift was on the cards for a long time now. We even spotted the test mule on numerous occasions in recent months. For now, let us check out all that’s new in the Renault Kiger facelift.

Renault Kiger Facelift – Design

As is the case with all facelifts, the main attribute which is different from the outgoing model is the design. The exterior styling helps distinguish the two products. Renault has done a commendable job to ensure that the facelift avatar looks nothing like the pre-facelift Kiger. At the front, we see an all-new bonnet, a striking and sleek front grille, a redesigned front bumper, horizontally placed Tri-octa LED headlamps, tiny fog lamps on the extreme edge of the bumper, a sturdy skid plate and a muscular hood.

Moving down the sides reveals rugged wheel arches with black claddings, chunky fenders, a dual-tone theme, black side pillars, solid roof rails, side body cladding, elegant 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and a familiar overall silhouette. Finally, the tail end is still quite close to the existing Kiger with C-shaped sharp LED taillamps, a roof-mounted spoiler, a shark fin antenna, a sporty bumper and an adventurous skid plate. Furthermore, the SUV is available in 7 attractive colour palettes, including two new additions – Oasis Yellow and Shadow Grey – alongside existing options: Radiant Red, Caspian Blue, Ice Cool White, Moonlight Silver, and Stealth Black.

Renault Kiger Facelift – Interior and Features

Renault has also revamped the cabin with a dual-tone theme. We know that modern car buyers want all the latest tech and convenience amenities in their vehicles. As a consequence, carmakers equip their products with all the bells and whistles. Some of the top attractions of the Kiger facelift include:

My View

The French auto giant has introduced enough upgrades to the Renault Kiger facelift to make it stand apart from the outgoing model. Oftentimes, there just aren’t enough distinctions between two cars save for some minor aesthetic changes. Therefore, Renault must be given full credit for making sure that there are attractive styling updates and interior modifications, along with tons of new-age features and amenities to attract a new breed of customers. Let us see how well the customers embrace the new Kiger.
