The famous compact SUV from the Korean auto giant has been on test for a while now
The next-gen Hyundai Venue test mule was recently involved in a crash on a public road. A Kia Carens also found itself entangled in the entire saga somehow. Venue is among the highest-selling products in its class. Note that the compact SUV segment is extremely competitive. Almost all major car companies have their models in this space. Hence, to be popular in this class is quite impressive and a testament to how appealing it is. Nevertheless, a new-gen version is on the cards. Let us take a look at the details here.
Next-Gen Hyundai Venue Test Mule Crashes
The specifics of this case stem from soryaview622 on YouTube. The visuals capture a heavily camouflaged SUV with its front fascia slightly damaged after a collision. Possibly, the SUV crashed against a concrete barrier. Look closely and you will recognize the familiar silhouette of the existing Venue. Even though the SUV is wrapped, we see the new alloy wheel design, and the side profile looks familiar. Furthermore, the roof rails and the side door panels appear to resemble the current Venue. Of course, there will be some design changes to the front and the rear.
It is not clear how this crash took place or the kind of damage the SUV sustained. Interestingly, a Kia Carens was also involved in this collision. Thankfully, the damage doesn’t look too severe in either car. Since it is nighttime, there are chances of an accident due to compromised visibility. In any case, we must not jump to any conclusions based on this video clip alone. What matters is that no one should’ve gotten hurt. The new Venue will soon make it to the market with tons of new-age amenities.
