Ola S1 Pro vs Hero Xoom 160 Drag Race

Ola S1 Pro vs Hero Xoom 160 Drag Race

YouTubers often conduct drag race competitions to compare the performances of two vehicles

In this post, we check out the drag race between an Ola S1 Pro and Hero Xoom 160. This is an exciting analysis of electric and ICE powertrains. The Ola S1 Pro is among the most powerful and performance-oriented electric scooters in the country. In fact, that has been its biggest appeal ever since its launch. That is why many new startups and established two-wheeler manufacturers consider it to be the one to beat. On the other hand, the Hero Xoom 160 is a potent scooter to cater to the needs of enthusiast riders. Let’s see who comes out on top in a drag race event.

Ola S1 Pro vs Hero Xoom 160 Drag Race

This post stems from Ayush Verma on YouTube. The host has the two bikes with him. For the first round, he takes the Ola S1 Pro, while his partner rides the Hero Xoom 160. As soon as the two riders accelerate, the EV takes a significant lead. In fact, after a while, the Xoom 160 was nowhere to be seen. Hence, the Ola scooter won the first round. For the second round, to compensate for its massive performance, the Xoom 160 rider started the race on the count of 1. As a result, it managed to win. Finally, the riders were swapped and the race was conducted one last time. Overall, the Ola S1 Pro was the undisputed winner of this event.

Ola S1 Pro vs Hero Xoom 160

The Hero Xoom 160 carries a 156-cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which makes 14 hp and 13.7 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. This mill comes mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. You will need to shell out Rs 1.49 lakh, ex-showroom, to get your hands on it. On the other hand, the Ola S1 Pro comes with multiple battery pack options. With the 3 kWh battery, it offers a range of 176 km and a top speed of 117 km/h. It ranges from Rs 1.40 lakh to Rs 1.65 lakh, ex-showroom.

I have reported on countless drag race events over the past few years. It is a popular way YouTubers use to test and compare two motorcycles. Still, I strongly advise readers not to attempt such stunts. The risk of accidents is always very high. Many of these YouTubers have proper skills and experience. This is the reason no one should copy them on public roads. Always follow traffic rules and make safety your first priority.
