We don’t often hear too many complaints regarding problems faced by luxury car owners
In this post, we experience a disgruntled Range Rover Sport owner who has been facing severe challenges with his luxury SUV for 2 years now. Range Rover is one of the most sophisticated and successful luxury car marques globally. Many celebrities from all walks of life opt for some model of this iconic brand. Note that Tata Motors owns Jaguar Land Rover since many years now, which has ensured that the latter remains in business. With Tata Motors, the JLR brand reached new heights. For now, let us delve into the specifics of this case.
Range Rover Sport Owner Shares Issues
This post stems from the_autoster on Instagram. The video captures the owner of the Range Rover Sport. He narrates the entire tale of the ordeals he is having to go through. He alleges that his car has been giving problems for the past 2 years. In fact, he has repeatedly written emails to the authorities and called up the staff on multiple occasions. However, no permanent solution has been provided by the carmaker. Instead, in fact, he clarifies that they talk to him with a rude attitude.
This reflects the lack of care for the customers. The man mentions that he purchased this opulent SUV for Rs 2.10 Crore. However, its side step doesn’t work properly. Ideally, it should automatically pop out when the door of the car is opened. We have seen this feature on many high-end cars. This ensures that the passengers get help while ingress and egress. Being a high SUV, a step is needed to facilitate a smooth entry into the car. However, that has stopped working. He says that when he gives the car for servicing, the problem disappears for a few days. Eventually, it comes back. For the last two years, no one has been able to provide him with a permanent solution.
My View
Now, I must mention here that it is mighty difficult to jump to any conclusion based on a social media post. Hence, we should take everything online with a pinch of salt. Nevertheless, one must do their due diligence to ensure that they are able to reach the facts of the matter. In any case, I hope that the company listens to the owner and offers a proper solution. I shall update this post once new information surfaces.
