Thums Up & Hero MotoCorp launch ThunderWheels 2.0. Scan QR on special packs to win the Hero Xtreme 250R – a 250cc streetfighter made for thrill seekers!

Thums Up and Hero MotoCorp have announced the launch of ThunderWheels 2.0, a follow-up to last year’s campaign that allowed consumers to win motorcycles through a special on-pack promotion. The second edition of this collaboration gives customers a chance to win the new Hero Xtreme 250R by simply scanning QR codes on specially marked Thums Up bottles. This initiative marks a continued partnership between Thums Up, a leading soft drink brand under Coca-Cola India, and Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of two-wheelers.


Scan & Get a Chance to Win Hero Xtreme 250R

The campaign, titled ‘Dum Hai Toh Scan Kar’, is designed around a QR-code-based contest. Customers who purchase specially designed Thums Up bottles can scan the code printed on the label to participate. Selected winners stand a chance to take home the Hero Xtreme 250R, Hero’s new 250cc motorcycle targeted at younger riders. These special edition Thums Up packs have already been rolled out in retail stores across India starting August 2025.

About the Hero Xtreme 250R

The Hero Xtreme 250R is a newly introduced streetfighter motorcycle. It comes with a 250cc engine and features a sporty design that targets performance-minded youth. Hero MotoCorp describes the bike as a blend of power, agility, and modern styling.

Official Statements

Speaking on the collaboration, Aashish Midha, Head of Marketing at Hero MotoCorp, said that ThunderWheels received a strong response last year and connected well with younger audiences. He added that the Xtreme 250R was designed for “those who ride with intent” and that the partnership with Thums Up builds on a shared spirit of boldness and energy.

Sumeli Chatterjee, Category Head – Sparkling Flavours at Coca-Cola India, said that Thums Up aims to offer adrenaline-fueled experiences to its audience. She mentioned that this campaign gives young consumers a way to engage with both brands through an “action-packed” experience.

Campaign Reach

The ThunderWheels 2.0 campaign is being promoted through a 360-degree media push, including TV, digital platforms, influencer-led content, and collaborations with artists. The goal is to connect with India’s younger population by combining soft drink consumption with aspirational products like motorcycles.
