Mahindra Thar Roxx Star Edition Detailed
This post stems from SANDEEP MALIK on YouTube. The host has the new Thar Roxx Star Edition at what appears to be a dealership stockyard. On the outside, this SUV gets most elements like the AX7L, including things like a distinct grille, round LED DRLs with integrated LED headlamps, a sporty bumper, fog lamps and the fender-mounted LED turn indicators. On the sides, the 19-inch alloy wheels are specific to this version. Then, there are chunky wheel claddings, side steps for easier ingress and egress, and Star Edition badging on the third quarter. Completing the tail section is the bootlid-mounted alloy wheel, a sturdy bumper and LED taillamps.
Moving inside reveals a luxurious and well-appointed cabin. Also, the tech amenities are top-notch. The main elements include a Harmon Kardon audio system, 60:40 split for rear seats, plush upholstery with soft-touch materials on dashboard and door panels, premium seats, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, rear armrest with cupholders, rear AC vent with USB charging port, a panoramic sunroof, sliding driver’s armrest, height adjustable seatbelts, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, manually height adjustable driver’s seat, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, tyre pressure monitoring system, multi-purpose steering wheel with tilt adjust, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Adrenox connected car tech, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, drive modes, wireless charging, etc.
Specs and Price
The powertrain options are similar to the rest of the range. These include a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol and a 2.2-litre mHawk turbo diesel engine, making 175 hp / 380 Nm and 172 hp / 400 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. Note that the Thar Roxx Star Edition is available with a rear-wheel-drive configuration and manual and automatic transmission options. The prices start at Rs 16.85 lakh and go up to Rs 18.35 lakh, ex-showroom.
