The latest iteration of the new Mercedes V-Class comes with two powertrain options – a 2.0-litre turbo petrol and a 2.0-litre turbo diesel mill. These generate a decent 228 hp + 20 hp (mild hybrid boost) / 370 Nm + 200 Nm and 233 hp / 500 Nm of maximum power and torque, respectively. Performing transmission duties is a 9G-TRONIC automatic gearbox in both avatars. This ensures that the needs of all sorts of buyers can be met. The luxury MPV is available in two trims – Extra LWB V300d and Extra LWB V300. Interestingly, both of these bear a price tag of Rs 1.40 Crore, ex-showroom.
