The motorcycle will officially launch in India at an event in New Delhi tomorrow. With this, it will become the second cruiser bike in the 150cc segment. In all chances, the new Intruder 150cc model will sit above the Gixxer 155 in the company’s product portfolio.

From the looks of it, this motorcycle won’t come cheap. Sharing its underpinnings with the Gixxer 155, the new model offers a really attractive design that is highly inspired from the M1800 power cruiser. Also, there is a long list of features on offer. All these factors will lead to a rather steep price. Expect prices to start at Rs 90,000. Hence, the new motorcycle will be costlier than the 150cc Avenger.

The new cruiser motorcycle shares its engine with the Gixxer 155. That said, the company asserts that the motor has been fine-tuned to suit the characteristics of the new motorcycle. The power, torque, and most other specifications, however, remain bog similar. The engine offers aย maximum power ofย 14.5 BHPย at 8,000 RPMย and a peak torque of 14 Nm at 6,000 RPM. Power isย sent to the rear wheel via a 5-speed Manual Transmission.

LIke we said, the engine comes from the Gixxer. Hence, even the mileage remains mostly the same. Thisย 154.9cc engine offers roughly 55 kmpl on the highway and around 50 kmpl in urban riding conditions.
