Bajaj Auto has finally updated its motorcycles with ABS and CBS. The prices of Pulsars. Avengers and other bikes have been revealed on the official website.

Most of the two-wheeler brands updated their entire lineup before the April 2019 deadline for ABS and CBS. Bajaj Auto started the process in time, but still, many bikes from the lineup were left to be updated.

The manufacturer had also not revealed the official prices, which we got to know either through the dealerships or sources. Now, the prices are officially out at its website.

Most of them have been updated, but a couple of them still continue without ABS/CBS. Here is the revised price list of all the Bajaj motorcycles.

Avenger 180, Platina 100 ES, V15 and Pulsar 180 have yet not received ABS. Reportedly, the 180cc Pulsar might be discontinued post-BS-6 engines and is now replaced by the 180F.

The same fate goes with the Avenger 180. The 180cc engine that these bikes use is a 2-valve engine, which is very old. To update it to the BS-6 compliance will be very costly.

That’s why Bajaj is launching a new Avenger 160 very soon. It will use the 160cc oil-cooled 4-valve engine from NS160, which gives the same power as the 180cc engine.

Dominar, RS200 and NS200 already came equipped with ABS. Dominar gets dual-channel ABS as standard, while the other two use a single-channel unit. All the other Pulsars also use a single-ABS unit.

Bajaj Auto is expected to roll out the BS-6 models in 2019 itself. In an earlier interview, officials confirmed that with the updated engine, the Pulsar and Avenger series will get more features and styling upgrades too.
