Tata Harrier 7-seater SUV codenamed H7X is spied in Nagpur. The car gets new rear tail lights and a larger rear windscreen.

Tata first revealed its 7-seater SUV, the H7X at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. For the European market, the car is named as Buzzard and the recent spy shots which were caught tells that we can expect the SUV to launch at a later date. The name is not yet clear, but we are expecting it to be called Tata Harrier 7 seater.

Based on the same Land Rover platform which is called, Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced (OMEGA) Architecture. The SUV also features the Impact 2.0 designing which we have seen on the Tata Harrier too.

The front fascia of the car will remain the same as the Tata Harrier, however, we can expect some change at the rear. Also, the length of the car will be increased so as to accommodate the 3rd-row bench. It is said that the wheelbase and the width of the car will remain unchanged.

The exteriors of the Tata Harrier 7 seater seems little different, first accounts to the longer roof opposed to the sloping roofline we see on Tata Harrier. Secondly, the rear tail light sees new design along with larger rear windscreen. The SUV sits on the same 18-inch alloy wheel which we see on the Harrier.

Expect the interiors to be identical like the Harrier, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Features like push-button start, automatic climate control, park assist, semi-digital instrument cluster along with mood lightings can be expected in Tata Harrier 7 seater.

It is expected to get the same 2.0-litre multijet diesel engine as seen on the Harrier. However, power figures have changed and it will churn out 171bhp along with 350Nm of torque which is the same as before.

Safety features like ABD with EBD, traction control, hill descent control and 6-airbags will carry forward from its sibling to Tata Harrier 7 seater.

We expect the prices to be higher than the on-going Harrier and it will fall within a bracket of Rs 14 lakh-Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Once launched it will compete against the Toyota Innova, Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson.
