Hyundai Creta EX trim priced at Rs 10.87 lakh

Hyundai Creta gets a new trim EX and hosts more feature than the base variant.

Hyundai has launched a new variant to the Creta line up which now will be called EX and it sits above the base variant E plus. The particular change has been brought to compete with the rivals and new variant offers more features.

The EX trim of Hyundai Creta now gets front fog lights with daytime running lights, rear parking camera, adjustable rear-seat headrests and a rear-seat armrest with a cupholder, turn indicators on ORVM’s.

However, the EX variant on diesel engine gets more feature like a 5.0-inch touch screen infotainment display, voice control, a 12V power outlet, steering mounted audio controls and two tweeters to improve the surround sound.

16-inch steel wheels remain stagnant like the E plus variant along with safety features like ABS with EBD, seat belt warning. It gets rear parking sensors, tilt-adjustable steering wheel and height adjustable steering seat.

The car comes with a remote key, all four power windows, power steering wheel, body coloured bumpers, follow me home headlamps and 3 years or unlimited kilometres warranty.

Hyundai Creta is available in three engine options, One petrol and two diesel options. The 1.6-litre petrol motor is available in both automatic and manual transmission. It churns out a power of 122bhp with 151Nm of torque.

The diesel is available in a choice of 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre motor. Lesser tuned 1.4-litre produces a power of 89bhp with 220Nm of torque and is available in a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The 1.6-litre motor is available is mated to both manual and automatic transmission. It generates a power figure of 122bhp with 260Nm of torque and returns an ARAI mileage of 17.01 Kmpl for automatic and 19.67 Kmpl for the manual version.

The prices for Hyundai Creta starts at Rs 10 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.66 lakh. New variant EX petrol costs Rs 10.87 lakh and the EX diesel is placed at Rs 11.01 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi.
