Toyota Yaris Facelift Launched In India – Price And Details

Toyota has tweaked the Yaris with a mild facelift, and the sedan now starts at Rs 8.65 Lakhs for the MT and Rs 9.35 Lakhs for the CVT.

Toyota has launched the Yaris facelift in India with some cosmetic upgrades, new features and new variants as well. The price range of Yaris now starts at Rs 8.65 Lakhs Lakhs (ex-showroom), instead of the earlier Rs 9.29 Lakhs.

Toyota Yaris Facelift gets some cosmetic upgrades, like dual-tone colour option, diamond-cut alloy wheels, Glossy Black finish for Grille and ORVM, Premium Leather seat, and Leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob.

Another new V Optional variant sits below the VX and gets dual-tone and diamond-cut alloy wheels among the new updates. It is priced at Rs 11.97 Lakhs for the MT and Rs 13.17 Lakhs for CVT gearbox.

Other than this, everything in Toyota Yaris remains the same. It comes with a 1.5 litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, that produces 107 BHP at 6000 RPM and 140 Nm of peak torque at 4200 RPM. Transmission options onboard include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed CVT, offering a mileage of 17.1 kmpl and 17.8 kmpl respectively.

Yaris is the most safety feature equipped car in its segment, with highlights including 7 airbags, hill start assist control, vehicle stability control, ABS with EBD and BA, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and Front and Rear Parking Sensors.

Other features onboard include electronic driver seat adjust, roof-mounted air ven, Cruise control, Keyless Entry, Reverse Parking Camera, Rear 60:40 split seats, LED headlamps, Gesture control, 7-inch LED touchscreen infotainment system.

With its price lowered, Toyota could see some boost in the sales of Yaris, since it is already the costliest car in its segment. It competes with the likes of Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento and Honda City.
