Bajaj has hiked the price of entire Pulsar range, by up to Rs 4,000. The prices of Pulsar 150 Classic and Neon have increased by the highest margin.

Bajaj has hiked the prices of all of its premium models, including the Pulsar range, Avenger series and the Dominar. For the Bajaj Pulsar, the price hike is ranging between Rs 1,000 to Rs 4,000.

Bajaj states rationalising of pricing as the reason for the hike in the price of the entire Pulsar range. The most affected by this price hike include the Pulsar 150 Classic and Neon. Check out the revised price list of the Pulsar range:

Bajaj PUlsar 220F Volcanic Red
Pulsar 150 Classic And Neon71,20075,200

Twin Disc88,83889,837

NS16093,09494,195
NS2001,13,0561,14,355

As you see, the Pulsar 150 Classic and Neon variants are now priced at Rs 75,200 (ex-showroom). Interestingly, the Pulsar 125 has missed out on the price hike, probably because it was just launched.

The new Bajaj Pulsar 125 looks identical to the Pulsar 150 Neon. It uses a 124.6cc air-cooled carburettor engine, that produces 11.8 BHP and 11 Nm of peak torque, with the engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

For suspension, it uses the same telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the back. Braking is handled by drum brakes at both the ends, with the option of a disc brake as well.

The Pulsar 125 is priced starting from Rs 66,618 (Ex-showroom) and now comes in nearly Rs 9,000 cheaper than the Pulsar 150. Riding on the brand name, the Pulsar 125 is likely to be successful from the start.

Talking about Pulsar topic, Bajaj is likely to introduce Pulsar 250 and Avenger 250 next year. It is unknown which Pulsar will undergo the engine upgrade, but reports suggest that it could be the NS200. Chances are that Bajaj might upgrade the old 220cc engine of the 220F as well as the Avenger 220.
