TVS Ntorq Race Edition Launched At ₹62,995; Gets New LED Headlight

The Race edition of Ntorq gets some additional features and gets new graphics change and colour options.

TVS two-wheeler company has just launched the Ntorq 125cc race edition scooter at a price of Rs 62,995 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Now the scooter comes with some additional features along with the ones present before.

TVS Ntorq race edition now receives a new LED headlamp design with a T-shaped diffused LED DRL. In addition, there is also an availability of hazard light switch which can be switched on with a button present on the handlebar.

Coming to the designing part, the scooter packs the same aesthetics, however, sees a good amount of visual changes. The Ntorq race edition comes in three shades – matte black, metallic red and metallic black. The scooter also receives race edition scooters on the side panels.

Mechanically, nothing gets changed for the Ntorq Race edition. It will continue with the 124.6 cc petrol engine which manages to pull out 9.4 bhp with a peak torque of 10.5 Nm. It is the most powerful scooter in its segment. Also, the engine is still BS4 compliant and the company will upgrade the engine to BS6 compliant before new emission norms kick in.

Talking about braking then it is handled by a disc brake at the front and drum at the rear. And as far as the suspension goes, the scooter gets telescopic at the front and monoshock at the rear.

Features onboard the Ntorq include Bluetooth-connected speedometer, digital console, Turn-by-Turn navigation, incoming call and message alert, Lap Timer, Top Speed Recorder, Engine Kill Switch and more.

TVS recently introduced the Ntorq with drum brakes at both the end, for Rs 2,000 cheaper. Earlier, it came with front disc brake and rear drum brake as standard. The Ntorq is priced starting at Rs 58,872 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The bookings for the Ntorq race have already commenced are can be done at dealerships across the country. The deliveries for the same are expected to begin in the coming few weeks.
