New TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Bluetooth

For a first in India, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V now gets a Bluetooth speedometer, which shows navigation, call alert, message alert and more.

TVS has updated the Apache RTR 200 4V with a Bluetooth Speedometer, priced at Rs 1.14 Lakhs (ex-showroom). This speedometer gets more features than the TVS Ntorq, and is the first motorcycle to get so.

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V gets the same instrument console with Bluetooth connection. The speedometer can be connected to the mobile phone through the TVS Connect Mobile Application, from Android or iOS phones.

Features onboard include turn-by-turn navigation, Call and SMS notification, Low fuel alert with assist and a dedicated information control switch. Additionally, you also get riding aids like Lean angle mode, Race Telemetry, Tour Mode and Crash Alert.

On the Lean angle mode, the bike uses gyroscopic sensors to detect at what angle the bike is leaning. In race telemetry, we get complete information about our race or ride, like top speed, average speed, lap timer and more. Crash alert is a feature which comes into play after the system senses a fall and notifies the emergency contacts within 180 seconds of the fall.

Otherwise, it continues with the same 197.75cc carburetted single-cylinder engine. The speedometer is not available on the FI version. Anyhow, the engine producres 20.5 BHP and 18.1 Nm of peak torque with a 5-speed gearbox.

For suspension, it uses KYB telescopic forks at the front and an adjustable mono-shock at the back. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both the ends with a dual-channel ABS as standard fitment.
