In a hear-warming video clip on the internet, a random kind act of a traffic police officer was caught on camera. We generally associate traffic constable with strict behaviour which is, sort of, a necessity in their profession. To prevent people from breaking laws and adhering to traffic regulations on Indian roads, these professional men need to be thick-skinned and assertive. The fear of law is the only thing keeping people from wreaking havoc on the roads. But there is a softer side to some of these men too. That is exactly what has been demonstrated in this video.

Kind Act By A Traffic Constable
The video has gone viral and the incident is reported to have occurred somewhere in Dehradun. The officer in this video is Vijay Prasad who is seen with a shovel in his hands. As per the information in the video, the temperature outside is around 42-degree celsius. In such scorching sun, he is trying to clear up rubble from the middle of the road. We don’t know how it got there in the first place. Someone might just have dumped it in the middle of the road which is, unfortunately, not uncommon in our country. He recognises the ruckus that it would create on the bustling street and could cause traffic jams.

Wanting to avoid public inconvenience, he took matters into his own hands and started picking up the rubble himself. Now, this is certainly not a part of the job description of a traffic constable but he decides to go ahead with the job anyway. This highlights his approach of doing what it takes to serve the people. His efforts are being widely applauded on the internet and people find it impressive that he decides to perform this task.

There have been plenty of instances where such videos have come out and highlighted this side of the police officers like the traffic constable seen above. It reflects the fact that they are human too and have a softer side. But due to the profession, they are in, they need to be harsh and authoritative sometimes.
