We often witness large companies hiring prominent celebrities and their brand ambassadors to promote their products
The Indian EV startup, BGauss, has joined forces with Ajay Devgn as its brand ambassador. BGauss is a prominent player in the Indian electric vehicle space with its new-age two-wheelers. In the last few years, many EV startups have popped up in the country to join the electric mobility race. BGauss is slowly making its way up to rival the industry giants like Ola and Ather. For now, let us take a look at the details of this latest development.
Ajay Devgn Becomes Brand Ambassador For BGauss
BGauss is part of RR Global, a group known for its work in electrical solutions. This move is an important step as the company looks to grow in India’s fast-growing electric two-wheeler market. Ajay Devgn is known for his serious and trustworthy image. His strong public presence fits well with BGauss’s focus on reliability, performance, and trust. With his support, BGauss hopes to connect better with people across the country and encourage them to consider electric scooters as a smart and eco-friendly choice.
BGauss recently launched the RUV 350, a tough and comfortable electric scooter. It is designed for both city travel and longer rides. It has a top speed of 75 km/h and a range of up to 145 km (certified by ARAI). The RUV 350 runs on a 3500W in-wheel motor and a 3 kWh battery. It has a metal body, 16-inch alloy wheels, and boot space. Features include a 5-inch display, navigation, cruise control, hill-hold, Fall-sense, and regenerative braking. Another recent model is the upgraded BGauss C12. It has a fresh look with dual-tone colours and a TFT screen.
It keeps popular features like a 2500W hub motor, 60 km/h top speed, and up to 123 km range. The C12 uses a 2.9 kWh battery with advanced lithium cells for better performance. It includes features like reverse mode, navigation, cruise control, and safety systems like CBS and Fall-sense. BGauss is backed by key investors like Madhu and Mahaveer Lunawat of Bharat Value Fund and Darshan Patel of Vini Cosmetics. With these updates and the new partnership with Ajay Devgn, the company aims to reach more riders across India.
Speaking on this occasion, Hemant Kabra, Founder and Managing Director of BGauss, said, “At BGauss, we focus on creating practical and reliable electric mobility designed specifically for Indian roads. Our vehicles embody this commitment. Ajay Devgn’s integrity and mass appeal perfectly resonate with our brand ethos, and we believe his partnership will significantly strengthen our reach as we promote sustainable urban mobility.” With plans to launch electric cycles and two additional models within the next year, BGauss is set to offer the most diverse range in the EV two-wheeler category. The company is also targeting robust dealership expansion over the next two years to strengthen its retail and service presence pan-India.
