The price of Bajaj Pulsar 125 has been revealed and it is indeed, the most affordable Pulsar in India. Further, the bookings for the bike have commenced.
Bajaj has launched the most affordable Pulsar 125 Neon in India for a starting price of Rs 64,000 up to Rs 66,618 (ex-showroom). It is available in front disc brake variant and drums brake variant.
The price of Bajaj Pulsar 125 makes it nearly Rs 5,000 cheaper than the Pulsar 150. It is slightly higher priced than other 125cc motorcycles, but it is a Pulsar and offers a sporty-commuter look from the Pulsar 150, unlike the simple design in other bikes in this segment.
Further, the bookings for the bike have already started across various dealerships. The deliveries are expected to commence in two-three weeks. Bajaj will offer the Pulsar 125 with three neon-colour options – Neon Blue with Matte Black, Solar Red and Platinum Silver, both on the drum and disc variant.
The Pulsar 125 uses a 124.6cc air-cooled engine that produces 12 BHP at 8500 RPM and 11 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The power figures are the best in the segment. The fuel tank capacity is 11.5 Litres and the bike weighs 140 kgs.
The design language of the Pulsar 125 will be the same as of the Pulsar 150. You get the same headlamp cowl, a digital-analogue instrument console, the original Pulsar fuel tank and a single long seat. Other features include clip-on handlebars, counterbalancer and an optional disc brake.
For suspension, it gets telescopic forks at the front and twin-shock absorbers at the back. Bajaj offers 170mm drum brakes at the front and 130mm drum brakes at the back as standard, with an optional 240mm disc brake.
The Pulsar 125 is available with a BS-4 engine as of now. It will go against the likes of Hero Glamour FI and Honda CB Shine SP, the latter being the best-selling 125cc motorcycle.
