BMW will soon be unveiling the 2011 BMW 335is at the New York Auto Show 2010 belonging to the 3-Series. For this manufacturer competition coming from German foes and other Asian companies has always been tough but even today the brand manages to stay on the zenith in this segment. The brand has also planned of unveiling the sixth generation 5-Series along with X5 SUV and 7-Series.
The new 2011 335is also belongs to the sixth generation 3-Series and will be made available in coupe as well as folding hardtop convertible.

The car very stylish with and brings in lot of chunkiness with the new sculpted body. Coming to the engine part, the internal designation of the engine is N55. It is a 3.0 liter 6-Cylinder inline CRDI all aluminum turbocharged one which is a refinement of what the company has been offering the customers with older 3-Series.
The result of such hard work and refinement is that the new engine responds faster,is more fuel efficient and performs cleaner running as compared to its predecessors. The transmission is a 6-Speed Manual one along with an option for the well-known 6-speed Steptronic automatic transmission now made available with “pull-style” shift paddles behind the steering wheel. A 7 Speed Double Clutch Transmission (DCT) is also available.
The engine roars out 320BHP of power which is 20BHPs more than its predecessors along with an increment of 32pound-feet in Torque summing to 332 pound-feet in the new engine, with a 7000 rpm redline. The new design incorporated better breathing capabilities eventually boosting the power to 11.6 psi as compared to earlier 8.7 psi and also comes with an overboost mode propelling the power to 14.5 psi.
