German automotive company BMW has launched its luxury sedan- the new BMW M5 in India at Rs 1.35 crore (ex-showroom). It will be sold as CBU (Completely Built-Up) unit. This sedan is equipped with innovative features delivering excellent performance.
The new M5 is powered by powerful M TwinPower Turbo eight-cylinder petrol engine which churns out 412 kW (560 hp) of maximum power between 6000-7000 rpm and 680 Nm of peak torque between 1500-5750rpm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. It gets a seven-speed M dual-clutch transmission with cruise control providing comfortable driving experience. It features adaptive LED headlights with four LED DRL light rings. Interiors and exteriors of the car, both are designed beautifully.

It is equipped with various innovative features like Intelligent Lightweight Construction, Automatic Start/Stop function, Brake Energy Regeneration, Electric Power Steering, 50:50 Weight Distribution etc. It comeswith BMW Connected Drive which features- BMW iDrive with touch controller and handwriting recognition, BMW Navigation Professional and Park Distance Control (PDC) on both rear (with camera) and front. All these come as standard features in new M5. It is equipped with Air bags, Active M Differential, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Active Protection with Attentiveness Assistant and Active headrests (front) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist as standard safety equipments.
Colour Options
It will be available in seven metallic colours- Black Sapphire, Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect, Monte Carlo Blue, Sakhir Orange, Silverstone, Singapore Grey and Space Grey and one non metallic colour- Alpine White. The Leather Merino upholstery is also available in Black, Orange, Sakhir and Silverstone colour combinations.

It is available as a CBU (Completely Built-Up) at BMW dealerships across India. It is available in a petrol variant and is priced at Rs. 1,35,40,000 (ex-showroom).
